LAV- Audette

Andy Andreoff and Carter Verhaeghe were the game's first and second stars.

When Syracuse recently lost Mitchell Stephens from the lineup again due to injury, one might've been concerned with the Crunch once again losing the services of one of their best centermen. Except, oh, they just pulled Otto Somppi out of the can. Somppi's first two games with Syracuse, 1-1-2 and a shootout winner tonight. Tampa Bay's organization continues to be an embarrassment of riches from a depth standpoint.

The Crunch are now unbeaten in their last eight games including seven wins in that span. Those 15 points have moved Syracuse from the out house in the North Division to just five points back of leading Rochester with two games in hand on the Americans.

What I'm saying is, Ben Groulx is some kind of powerful warlock.
