Janosik (pictured) hit 30 points for the season, which makes it three times in his three seasons he’s done so. He’s five points off his career high of 35, which was set in his draft year in 63 games.

The Knights rebounded from a loss to Windsor on Friday with a big win over rival Kitchener on Sunday. Namestnikov was not in the lineup because of the flu.

Wilcox (pictured) continues to shine for Tri-City, this time stopping all but two of 31 shots to help the Storm to a home win over last place Sioux Falls. TC is two points behind Des Moines for the West’s final playoff spot, though Des Moines has a game in hand.

Gatineau jumped out to 2-0 and 4-2 leads and held on for the win at home against the Sags. Rookie Adam Chapman (2012) had two goals for the Olympiques. Gatineau sits in 13th place in the league. The best 16 teams of the 17-team league make the playoffs. There are no conferences.

Victoriaville carried a 3-0 lead into the third period before allowing five goals to the Mooseheads. One of the Halifax goals was an empty netter. Despite the choking, Victoriaville’s Phillip Danault, a first round pick of the Blackhawks last summer, was named first star for scoring two goals. The Tigres are in fourth in the QMJHL.

Coming off a streak of three mulit-point games in a row, Namestnikov is now scoreless in two straight games. Windsor avenged a home loss to London last week by beating the Knights at the Labatt Centre on Friday night. London leads the Western Conference by five points.

Moncton won the shootout 2-1. Janosik (pictured) did not participate in the tiebreaker. Janosik is 20th in the league in points among defensemen. Sabres pick Jerome Gauthier-Leduc of Rimouski leads blueliners with 62 points in 50 games (24 goals).

Namestnikov’s streak of multi-point games ended at three. He had seven points in those three games. This game on Sunday between the two Midwest Division powers didn’t disappoint as it took a shootout to decide the winner. London got a goal from Jared Knight (Bruins) in the shootout to take the extra point. The Knights extended their lead over the Rangers to nine points for the division lead. Kitchener is one point behind Plymouth for the second most points in the league. London is 8-2 in their last 10 games.

A night after nearly stealing a win against Fargo and being named third star, Wilcox (pictured) stood on his head for most of the Saturday game and came away with a win and first star honors. The future Minnesota Golden Gopher reportedly put on a show for the Storm. TC is now two points behind Des Moines for the final playoff spot in the West, though the Bucs have two games in hand. The Storm have crawled out of the cellar to make a run at the playoffs.

Janosik returned after missing Saturday’s game with an injury to contribute in Gatineau’s win on Thursday over the visitor’s from Sydney. William Carrier (2013) had a hat trick for Cape Breton.

Namestnikov’s two assists game him five points in his last two games. He set up linemate and former Lightning camper Seth Griffith (pictured) on two of Griffith’s three goals in the game. The hat trick gave Griffith 39 goals for the year and moved him into the OHL lead in that category. He is eligible to re-enter the draft this year and will likely be taken early.
