Colgate jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead and hung on to upset the Big Red at Lynah Rink. The loss broke Cornell’s seven-game unbeaten streak. Gotovets appears to have been a healthy scratch.

In front of a national audience on NBC Sports Network, Killorn (pictured) was named First Star after scoring twice, including the game winning goal over rival Yale. The senior appears to be ready for the next level and can join the AHL Norfolk Admirals after his season is over – if/when signed.
