QMJHL
Gatineau Olympiques 2 @ Acadie-Bathurst Titan 8
D Adam Janosik, GAT: 0-0-0, -4, 0 PIM, 0 SOG, 0 Hits
Season Totals: 31 GP, 4-10-14, +4, 18 PIM
Janosik’s plus-8 rating for the season was cut in half in one bad night vs. the Titan. Gatineau is third in the TELUS West Division with 42 points, eight behind Charles Landry and Montreal for first.
Montreal Juniors 5 @ Lewiston MAINEiacs 3
D Charles Landry, MTL: 0-2-2, +1, 0 PIM, 1 SOG, 1 Hit
Season Totals: 21 GP, 5-15-20, +11, 6 PIM
Landry has eight points in his last three games and has registered at least a point in seven of his last eight games. With his two points Sunday, he is quickly approaching point-per-game status. Although his strong play didn’t show on the scoresheet for the Lightning in Traverse City, Steve Yzerman and company saw enough in the undrafted defenseman to sign him to an entry level contract. He had a slow start to the season, but has come on very strong since missing a few games due to an injury. The Lightning may have a legitimate prospect here.
