Islanders first rounder Ryan Strome and Anthony DiFruscia (2013) each had two goals for Niagara. Strome leads the league in plus/minus at plus-27. Koekkoek is 554th, four ahead of Jake Cardwell of Ottawa for last and four behind the next closest players.

Adam Wilcox stopped 14 shots for his second collegiate shutout on Friday as the Gophers beat the SeaWolves in Alaska. Wilcox only face seven shots through two periods, then stopped seven in the final frame. Minnesota scored all their goals on the power play.
