After starting the year with at least a point in his first eight games, Nikita Kucherov is scoreless in his last two contests. Cedric Paquette has been making news lately for the right reasons. Earlier this year he was suspended by the team for one game for taking an ill-advised retaliation penalty late in a game that cost the Armada a win. He was stripped of his alternate captain’s A and told to control his emotions. He has responded nicely, reportedly, and told the local papers that he is still a leader on the club without a letter. On Friday, he had an assist in Etienne Marcoux’s 16-save shutout of the Olympiques.
