Just checked out TSN for the current salary status of the Bolts after the Feds signing. Using 450k for those listed as undisclosed including Janik at 475k if he along with Alexeev, Delmore and Karlsson bring the Bolts to just under the 40mil number. That leaves Dmitry Afanasenkov, Evgeni Artyukhin, Ryan Craig, and Cory Sarich to be signed with the remaining 4mil. This assumes the team uses Burke as the backup, who chews up 1.6mil of cap space. He has a no trade contract so any trade will need to be negotiated. My guess is they buyout the contract and send him home which would save about 400k which they can use to ink Johan Holmqvist who they would prefer to be their backup at this time. I don't know if Johan would play for the 450k or would he accept a two way contract? There could be an eligibility issue with the two way contract, Pete do you know?
According to the NHLPA web site Sarich and Fedotenko have both filed for salary arbitration. http://www.nhlpa.com/Content/Feature.asp?contentId=3605

3 years, 8.6 mil. A good signing. Denis will do better behind a solid team. When his deal is up, one of the young guns can come in and hopefully take the role. http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=170478&hubname=

According to TSN.ca Pavel Kubina has signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs for 4 years at $5M per season. Best of luck to Toronto with that. I think Pavel is really only worth about half that. Apparently the Hurricanes have signed John Grahame to a two year deal for about 1.5M per. Boston has loaded up by signing Chara and Marc Savard. Phoenix has signed Ed Jovanovski.
